The Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary is a zoo and animal sanctuary in Folsom, California, which is approximately 30 minutes away from Sacramento by car. Unlike most zoos, the animals that live here are not bred, sold, or traded, but are instead cared for until they die. The zoo is also known for taking in animals that have been injured and would not be able to survive in the wild. If your family loves animals, then visit the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary to see and learn about a wide variety of species that are being given the best care possible, including cougars, bobcats, zebu, squirrel monkeys, boa constrictors, and black bears.
