Activity Overview

A great resource for the community of Wake County the Fred G. Bond Metro Park offers 310 acres of community facilities and green areas to the public. Included in this are an amphitheater, sports fields, extensive trails, a playground, a Senior Center and Community Center and a couple of picnic shelters. With all of this there is always something going on at Bond Metro Park!

Things to Do

• Bond Park is home to the Challenge Ropes Course which makes participants work mentally and physically to overcome the obstacles in their way and reach the end of the course. It is an excellent team building exercise as people must work together to reach the end. It's a fun experience that can also help people come together; find details on who to contact to book using the course here.
• Bond Park's Community Center runs plenty of programs for a range of ages that span from cultural events to athletics. The Community Center is only a short walk from the Senior Center which similarly offers plenty of great opportunities for those aged 55 and over.
