Activity Overview
Santa Fe's Genoveva makes an excellent example of how a community center should be run. It is home to an amazing array of facilities which are open to the public at reasonable prices. A membership here will provide everything you need to get fit without paying the extortionate prices that are often charged by private gyms. The only thing you need after that is the willpower to go and keep going!
Things to Do
- For those who like to take to water they will find exactly what they need with an Olympic style fifty meter pool. Less serious swimmers can head to the leisure pool and once your done you can chill out in the therapy pool. Once it's all done head to the sauna before hitting the showers for maximum relaxation!
- One of the Center's big draws is its all year round ice rink, something of a rarity in a state as hot as New Mexico. They have regular public skate sessions and skate lessons for those who are finding their feet. Curling and hockey teams also use the top quality facility.
- At the Center's Gymnasium there is a great amount of sports on offer. People can come along and practice or play basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, cheerleading and more. Tournaments, organized teams and informal pick-up games regularly take place.
