Gold Coast Railroad Museum is an official railroad museum in Miami, Florida. Founded in 1956, the museum is dedicated to the history of railroading, featuring important exhibits and locomotives. The museum houses over 30 historic trains, features train rides, interactive exhibits, and locomotives. The museum is easily accessible and is located adjacent to the Miami Zoo. The museum offers free admission on first Saturday of the month.

• Visit the museum that will take you back to the time of railroading, the museum is a delight for visitors of all ages. A huge train set allows children to play in and around it.
• Several historic trains are on display, including the Ferdinand Magellan rail car that was built for president Franklin D. Roosevelt and the California Zephyr.
• Visitors can enjoy train rides on classic trains. Edwin link children's railroad is a 20-minute ride, suitable for both children and adults.
• Several model railroads are on display, children can play with wooden train set layouts.
• The Day out with Thomas event is held in March, it offers many activities for the children including meeting with Sir Topham Hatt, music, arts and crafts, and a 25-minute ride on Thomas the tank engine.
• Celebrate your child's birthday party at the museum, plan a party in the party area under the train shed, or use one of the air-conditioned lounge car for your party.
