Enjoy the great Louisiana outdoors in Greenwood Community Park, located in Baker, Louisiana. Greenwood Community Park is a 390-acre beautiful park that offers recreational opportunities for every member of the family. Families can enjoy fishing in the park, kayaking, canoeing, playing disc golf, beating the heat with the splash pad and many other interactive and fun activities.The park also has a Tennis center, walking trails and a cafe. The park has a very nice playground and a dog park. Greenwood community park has a historic significance, it still preserves one of the ammunition storage buildings of the world war II. The park's history is depicted on the signage scattered through out the walking trails. The park is open daily, from sunrise to sunset.

Things to Do

• Families can enjoy playing disc golf in the 18-hole disc golf course in the park. Children can play in the playground and the seasonal splash pad.
• Enjoy fishing at the fishing pier of the 18-acre lake of the park, visitors can rent canoes, paddle boats and kayaks.
• The beautiful Dumas golf course is very pleasant on the eyes, children and adults alike can enjoy playing at the 18-hole golf course. The golf pro shop can be found at the park's waterfront.
• Hike with your children on the interpretive Cypress Bayou lake trail. The playground has a picnic area.
• Take your canines to the Raising Cane's dog park, the dog park has two play areas and a water station. Play tennis in the tennis courts of the Tennis center.
• Enjoy some delicious meals and drinks at the Waterfront Cafe.
