Kemper Williams in 1966, and it preserves the history of New Orleans and the French quarter. The historic New Orleans Collection museum is more than a museum, it preserves and restores the Royal street complex having many architectural gems. The museum is a special place to visit, and has an educational value for the children. Visitors can take free self-guided or docent-led tours of the museum galleries and the architectural sites.
