Homemade Name Stamp Cube

Activity Overview

Children will love creating their very own Name Stamp Cube. Name Stamp Cubes are so easy to make and are a great learning tool for young children as they learn and practice how to spell their names. Older children will enjoy them too because they absolutely love to personalize their papers with their own name.

This is great for all ages and even helps out those children who have names that are unique in popularity or spelling. It is oftentimes frustrating when you can't find your name at a store on the personalized item rack. If your name is longer than 6 letters, you will need to use two cubes to complete this project. Create first names and last names too!

Materials Needed

  • A wooden cube of wood
  • Craft Foam Letters
  • Glue
  • Ink Pad
  • Paper

How to Make It

  1. Select the letters of your name from the foam letter bucket.
  2. Simply glue one letter to each side of the wooden cube. If you have more than six letters in your name, remember that you will need more than one block.
  3. Allow to dry.
  4. Start stamping by pressing the letters in order or your name and stamping each of them in order on the paper in front of you.
