Activity Overview
These pools at the Virginia Hot Springs are named after Thomas Jefferson and have been drawing visitors for centuries and have been thought to have healing properties associated with them. The history of these soaking pools dates back to before it was even historically written.
Archaeologists have uncovered over 9000 years of use at these very hots springs. Two hot springs from the Alleghany River flow into pools located on the Omni Homestead property, where you can enjoy a healing soak in the naturally warm, non-chemically treated soothing waters like those throughout history did. Experience the relaxation of your mind, body and spirit in the crystal clear, bubbling, healing mineral waters that average 98 degrees.
