Activity Overview

Kilborne Park is a 49-acre urban park located in Charlotte, North Carolina that is best known for its popular disc golf course. It also provides extensive facilities for other outdoor activities, including multi-purpose fields, tennis courts, a softball field, and a multi-purpose trail. There's also a playground and picnic facilities for those wanting to spend the entire day enjoying the great outdoors.

Things to Do

• If your family enjoys disc golf, you'll definitely want to take advantage of the beautiful course which is carved out of the woods. It was even used as a world championship site in 1997.
• Take your child to the playground, where they can climb, slide, and play to their hearts' content.
• Bring along a ball to kick around the fields or the equipment you need to play a game or two of tennis on one of the tennis courts.
• Get some exercise by going for a family hike or bike ride on the scenic multi-purpose trail.
