Activity Overview
Latourell waterfall is a wonderful and scenic waterfall along the Colombia River Gorge in Oregon. The beautiful fall has a height of 249 feet, this fall is named after Joseph Latourell, who was a prominent Colombia River Gorge settler. The water fall is easily accessible from the parking lot in the Guy W. Talbot state park. An easily accessible hiking trail takes you up to the water fall. The water fall is open year-round, except during winter storms.

- The hiking trails lead you to different view points from where you can take a clear and stunning view of the fall. There is beautiful scenery on your way and many wooden bridges to cross, and one trail leads you back to the parking area of Guy W. Talbot park, where families can have a picnic at the picnic tables.
- The hiking trails are family friendly, and the difficulty ranges from easy to moderate. The water from the waterfall is very cold, so make sure to dress appropriately.
- The base of the waterfall provides splendid opportunity for photographs.
- Don't forget to take trail maps and maps of the area before starting your hiking trip.
- The parking lot is decently sized, and there are restrooms.
