Marshall Park in Charlotte, North Carolina is an Urban park of around 6.5 acres, the park was created in 1973. The public park features a large fountain and a lake, and an amphitheater. The park is named after city manager of Charlotte, James B. Marshall, who conceived the park back in his days. He served Charlotte from 1935 to 1940. The park has large grassy areas and a beautiful landscape, gives nice views of the Charlotte skyline. The park has walking paths and couple of memorials. The park also displays a memorial statue of Martin Luther King.
