Mount Tabor park in Portland is a beautiful park for family fun and recreation. The park is located on a dormant Volcano, named as Mount Tabor. The park has many amenities for the families, such as, a picnic area, safe play areas for children, paved paths for walking, tennis and basket ball courts. The location of the park provides panoramic views of downtown Portland.

- Families can enjoy hiking on the paved hiking trails, suitable for all ages, the hiking trails pass through the woods and enable you to explore nature, and enjoy the greenery and fresh air. There are paths for cycling.
- Enjoy wonderful views of downtown from the west side, especially at sunset. Two play grounds for kids to play and enjoy outdoor activities, the playgrounds have a safe mulch surface.
- Covered picnic areas are a perfect spot for family picnics.
- Dogs are allowed, there are areas for off-leash dogs.
- Great place for some nice photographs.
- An amphitheater hosts free concerts in the Summer.
- Don't forget to visit the visitor center.
