Activity Overview
Automobile fans might want to stay here for the day. The Mullin Automotive Museum is owned by Peter Mullin, an automobile enthusiast with an extensive collection of French cars from the Art Deco period. His most famous collection includes a vast display of sleek and shiny Bugatti cars.
Things to Do
- Purchase tickets in advance and take the family for an afternoon of French automobiles. You can go around the museum on your own but it's best to join the free docent-led tours. The docents are friendly and very knowledgeable about the history and the background of the cars. There are no ropes around the cars and you can get up close to admire the ingenuity of the Art Deco era of French design.
- Aside from the French cars, visit The Mullin Galleries for the art and architecture during the Art Deco period. You'll find furnitures, decorative arts, paintings, photographs, and sculptures.
- Learn more about the museum's Thematic Focuses such as the background of the Bugatti family, French Curves or the art behind automobile design, and the Vision of Voisin, a French aircraft manufacturer.
