Activity Overview

For over 30 years, the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) has welcomed visitors through its doors in Tampa, Florida. MOSI is one of the largest museums of its type in this part of the US and has a whole host of activities and exhibits for you and your family.

The museum is also home to the Florida Hospital DOME Theatre, the only one of its kind in all of Florida.

Things to Do

• The little ones will have a blast at Kids in Charge! where they can learn through playing. This is also the largest science center for kids in the whole country.
• Learn more about weather in Disasterville. This exhibit features hurricanes, tornadoes, and wildfires in a safe and educational environment.
• Ride the High Wire Bike 30 feet above the museum floor. You have to see it to believe it!
• You and your little monkeys can be little monkeys on the museum's rope course. The course even features a zipline that spans 700 feet across the museum.
• See beautiful butterflies in the BioWorks ButterflyGarden. In this exhibit you and your family can learn all about the butterflies native to the area.
• Visit the Amazing You exhibit to find out more about the human body throughout its life cycle.
• Do the little ones always have their heads in the stars? Take them to the Saunders Planetarium to experience the night sky and beyond.
