Activity Overview

The U.S. Constitution is brought to life through the educational presentations, theatrical performances, debates, exhibits and interactive displays at the National Constitution Center.

Created in 1988, the Center also serves as a town hall and forum for politicians, journalists and other leaders to discuss and debate constitutional issues.

Things to Do

  • See the daily news acted out on stage.
  • Examine models of the White House, Supreme Court and Capitol buildings.
  • Test your knowledge of the Constitution by participating as a game piece in a live board game.
  • Try your hand at a trivia contest.

National Constitution Center Insider Tips

  • Check the calendar for the many hands-on, children's activities scheduled.
  • Look for Signer's Hall, where you can sign the Constitution yourself or act as a dissenter.
