Activity Overview
Visit the museum dedicated to those who worked tirelessly for freedom and justice for all. The stories of many abolitionists and such famous freedom fighters as Nelson Mandela are brought to life through the museum's artwork, life-sized sculptures and interactive displays.
The Museum includes interactive exhibits, contemporary works of art, and stories of heroes from all walks of life within eight expansive galleries and adjacent spaces.
Things to See & Do
- Peruse the exhibits that celebrate immigration and suggest methods for resolving conflict.
- View exhibits honoring heroes from around the world, courageous individuals from the Pennsylvania National Guard, and a 3-story memorial to the heroes of 9/11.

- Crafts and activities relating to peace and harmony are offered on weekends during the summer.
- Fine glass art pieces, jewelry, prints, posters & imaginative toys are available for purchase in the Museum's store.
- American publisher and philanthropist Irvin J. Borowsky founded the National Liberty Museum in 1995. It was a labor of love borne out of his commitment to help others and a desire to make the world a more peaceful place. The result is a one-of-a-kind institution that has touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.
