The paved Green way trail can be used for hiking, bicycling, the trail has a total distance of almost 28 miles. The trail crosses many boardwalks, two suspension bridges, and wetland areas. The trail is open year round. Canoeing, kayaking and fishing can be enjoyed at the Neuse River.
