If you take the trip between December and April you may see the California Grey Whale during its annual migration along the Orange County coastline. - They also offer a full day trip around Catalina Island. This tour sets out at 8 am and gives you great viewing opportunities for many different types of whales, dolphins and other marine life. Halfway through you will be dropped off on Catalina Island for two and a half hours before returning back to Newport at 6 pm.
