Norman Bird Sanctuary is a beautiful nature preserve and a wildlife museum located in Middletown, Rhode Island, this sanctuary was founded in 1949. The 325-acre bird sanctuary has 7 miles of hiking trails, a visitor center, wildlife museum and a gift shop. The nature preserve has woodlands, hay fields, and offers bird watching. Guided bird walks are offered at the nature preserve, spot a variety of beautiful and exotic birds including, green heron, mallard, swan, wood peckers and other birds. The nature preserve is open everyday for hiking and tours.
