Located on Highway 42 West in Sanford, the Old Gilliam Mill Park is an excellent place to spend a fund day out with the family and discover how a mill worked in the 19th century. Besides offering a glimpse into the past of the area, the Old Gilliam Mill Park is also a perfect location for hosting parties and taking stunning pictures.
The current mill you can see at the Old Gilliam Mill Park is a faithful 20th-century reproduction of the original mill. Worth Pickard constructed the reproduction on weekends and holidays, helped by some of his friends and family.
