Activity Overview
If you are looking for a quick and easy activity to occupy the family when boredom creeps in, try out these simple paper and straw rockets. They are easy to make and are based on the concept of that tempting urge that kids have to blow the wrapper off of their straws at a restaurant. While this activity is less than appropriate at a restaurant, the backyard is fair game for this kind of fun.
Decorate your paper rockets with your own unique flair and have flying races or aim them at a target where the closest rocket is the winning one.
