Treat the kids like royalty and introduce them to these fantastic Paper Plate Crowns. These crowns are easy to make from the most inexpensive of paper plates and will be the pride and joy of your little princes and princesses.
All that you need is a paper plate, scissors and some innovative and creative crafters to get started. Transform the ordinary to the extraordinary in a few simple steps. Have fun decorating these magnificent crowns with crayons or markers or you can add many other craft supplies to embellish and personalize your crowns.
Materials Needed
- Paper plate
- Scissors
- Crayons or markers
- Other craft accessories and glue( optional)
How to Make Them
- Grab a dinner sized simple paper plate.
- Fold your paper plate in half and sketch out lines dividing the have in four equal triangular slices as if you were slicing a pie. You should have 5 lines ( two over which are actually on the fold).
- Take your scissors and cut each of the three sketched lines as shown in the picture above. Cut until just before the ridged edge of the plate.
- Open the plate up and cut the remaining two lines.
- Color and decorate the plate in any way that you wish.
- Fold each of the triangles up to form your crown!
