The Perkins Road Park is located at Perkins Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is a 52-acre park featuring a skate park, BMX race track, velodrome, rock climbing wall, children's playground, walking trails, fishing pond, tennis courts, recreation center and other amenities. The park is a hot spot for family fun, recreation and outdoor sports. The park is open everyday from Sunrise to Sunset.

• Everyone in the family will enjoy different sporting activities in the park, there are walking and running trails throughout the park for anyone looking to shed off some pounds.
• Children can enjoy skate boarding in the skate park, you can also bring bicycles to the concrete skate park.
• Looking for a thrilling bike racing track? The BMX track offers both open riding days and racing days. Races are open every Thursday and require registration.
• Children and adults can enjoy rock climbing, you can also register for rock climbing classes.
• Enjoy fishing at the fishing pond, you may catch a rainbow trout. Children can have some climbing and jumping in the playground.
• Looking for some fun fitness classes? The recreation center offers Zumba, martial arts and other fitness classes.
• A tennis court and baseball fields are available. Families can enjoy a picnic in the picnic area.
