Piedmont Park, a beautifully green, and roughly triangular-shaped, located in the midtown of the Atlanta, Georgia. It’s a 185-acre park having round columned gazebo.
This scenic park features jogging/walking/running tracks, playgrounds, tennis courts, pools, picnic areas, two children’s park, dog park as well as elected areas for biking. Here’s also a newly refurbished swimming pool, that opens on Memorial Day In summer 2009, named the Family Aquatic Center.

Piedmont Park is a very much trendy place for organizing sports. It’s just a great place to spend time outside while in Atlanta. It’s good for families and friends to arrange picnic parties as there are picnic shelters having picnic benches and tables throughout the park.There is also a swimming pool fit for summers. In addition festivals are usually arranged in Piedmont Park over the year.
Those who are fond of fishing can visit the lake that is located in the south east part of the park, which is stocked with so many fishes like cat fish, bream, large mouth bass etc.
Piedmont Park is a central place to arrange annual celebrations and events on holidays, throughout the year. The park comes lively with music and fun festivals. Through December it's a fantastic place for walking or biking.
