Preservation Hall Insider Tips
- There are three performances every night starting at 8:00 p.m., so if you want to attend the earliest show make sure to get in line early.
- If you don't want to wait in line before the show in order to pick up general admission tickets, you can reserve "Big Shot" seating online in advance, which guarantees you some of the best seats in the house for between $35 and $50.
- Feel free to bring along your own drinks - none are provided and it can get hot in the summertime since the building has no air conditioning, so water bottles are always a good idea.
- Preservation Hall is a great place for families that want to enjoy New Orleans jazz while avoiding the party scene on Bourbon Street.
