Activity Overview
Get your children engaged in sensory play with this fun and easy recipe for Cloud Dough. Hours of interactive play await you once you concoct this simple dough that keeps indefinitely when stored properly. Set out some play dough tools, utensils, cups, cookie cutters and molds, straws and any other items that your child will enjoy exploring with.
For variations to the cloud dough, you can add a little bit of glitter or a tbs of powdered tempura paint for colored dough. This kind of learning and sensory fun can get a little bit messy. I recommend art smocks or aprons and while this activity can certainly be done both indoors or out, our family's preference is to set this station up outside.
