Activity Overview
Ray Harral Nature Park makes for a great getaway from some of the busier parts of the Tulsa area. In this 40 acre park you will really feel like you have left the city far behind and dived deep into the woods. There are all kinds of wildlife to look out for and flowers to appreciate. It's sure to be a real treat for any birder. Your kids will love the opportunity to explore the Park's many nooks and crannies and will probably get quite a bit dirty when they do! As for you simply enjoy being amongst the beauty of nature, a pleasure that is all too rarely enjoyed in our busy modern lives.
Things to Do
- When you visit you can start by going to the Park's Nature Center. Here you can find out a little bit about the local wild and plant life that you are likely to see as you make your way around the park itself.
- Once you have a bit of knowledge you can go out and start exploring the lovely environs of the park.
- There are trails for you to follow and if you bring some lunch you can set up at some of the picnic tables provided, there are grills too. All together the walking trail is three miles long and there are benches along the way for you to sit and contemplate.

- The Park makes a great destination in the Fall. You can come to see the leaves changing colors at different stages throughout the season giving the park a different ambience than normal.
