Activity Overview
Are you looking for a fun and whacky way to see Seattle's best sites?? Well then hop on one of the city's Ride the Duck Tours. Starting from one of two locations, either at the Seattle Center or the Westlake Center, you will head out with a group of fellow travellers and an entertaining, informative captain to see the most significant areas of the finest city in the American Northwest. Plus there is a watery surprise waiting for you at the end as your truck turns into an amphibious craft and you hit the water of Lake Union! Each tour lasts about 90 minutes.
Things to Do
- Regardless of where you begin your tour both routes cover the same ground to ensure you don't miss any highlights! See the impressive Seattle Center which was originally built for the 1962 World's Fair and is home to the city's most famous landmark, the Space Needle.
- Head down to the historic district around Pioneer Square and hear all about the destruction caused by the Great Seattle Fire of 1889. The Downtown Shopping District is home to Pike Place Market where you will find the first ever Starbucks.
- Aurora Bridge gives you a beautiful view out over Lake Union which you can appreciate even more once you splash onto its surface and sail around it in your amphibious craft!
