Activity Overview
Riverside Park is a popular recreation area located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River in Roswell, Georgia. It is best known as the home of Splash 'n Play at Riverside Park, an exciting sprayground where children can stay cool in the summer heat while splashing in water jets. Other park attractions include paved trails that can be used for walking, cycling, and roller skating, a stage that is used to host live music performances, playgrounds, green spaces for playing sports, and picnic tables with scenic views of the river.
Things to Do
- Take your little one to Splash 'n Play at Riverside Park, which features dozens of water jets that they can splash and play in with friends in the summer.
- Go for a family hike or bike ride along the park's scenic trails in order to get some exercise.
- Bring along some food and drinks and have a picnic by the beautiful Chattahoochee River.
- Keep an eye out for the many ducks that live in the area!
Riverside Park Insider Tips
- Keep in mind that children under 3 are required to wear a swim diaper in the sprayground.
- While the park itself is free, there is an admission charge of $2 per person to enter the sprayground. Infants can enter the area for free.
- Splash 'n Play is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, as well as weekends in September.
- Consider having your child's birthday party at the sprayground - they offer both private rentals and birthday party packages.
