Activity Overview
Ever felt like you would love to learn how to rock climb but never felt like you have really had the opportunity to do so. Well now you do with the Santa Fe Climbing Center. This Center offers a great indoor complex where you can learn the ropes from the instructors. Then once you have the hang of it you could give outdoor climbing a real go. Programs are provided for ages as young as five and for all skill levels.
Things to Do
- Head outdoors for some guiding and conquer and majestic New Mexico countryside! The surrounding countryside is full of basalt cliffs giving plenty of great opportunities for rock climbing. Choose between either a half a day or a full day out. The cost per person of one of these trips falls dramatically once you have four people in your group so try to organize at least this number before you go.
- You can take classes in rock climbing at the Santa Fe Climbing Center! These are perfect for the enthusiastic novice seeing as you will get the chance to work in a safe environment with experienced professionals with the best gear available. Classes are available for all skill levels from beginner to advanced.
Santa Fe Climbing Center Insider Tips
- You can avail of discounts at the Center at different times throughout the week. On Tuesdays and Thursdays there is a discount for people who want to climb between 11.30 am and 1.30 pm. On Saturday locals climb and a very discounted rate between 12.00 and 3.00 pm. Finally on Sunday's families climb for cheap between 10 am and 12 pm.
