Insider tips

  • Take the tour of the market to make sure you don’t miss anything. There are also self guided tours available. You can get a map by clicking here
  • The best time to visit the market is before 12 noon. The market is generally less crowded. Late fall, winter and early springs are the less visited times of the year. During the summer the weekdays are your best chance for less people
  • Most buildings are both stroller and wheelchair friendly
  • If you want to make a weekend out of your market visit there are hotels close by
  • Under the main arcade you will also find three floors of unique shops offering a variety of goods and services
  • There are no pets allowed in the market with the exception of trained service animals
  • Tipping the street performers is defiantly ok. This is the only way they make their money. If you enjoy what you see feel free to let them know.
