Sellwood park in Portland, Oregon is a beautiful park that was acquired in 1909. The park covers an area of about 17 acres, and includes many amenities for the families. There are picnic areas, tennis and basket ball courts, soccer fields, a horse shoe pit, a playground for kids, and restrooms. The park is easily accessible from downtown Portland and is open year-round.
