The family-owned Seven Oaks Recreation offers a wide range of outdoor activities in central Iowa. Whether you are thinking about taking up canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, river tubing, snow tubing,or skiing, you can do it all at the Seven Oaks Recreation.

Besides offering a complete selection of outdoor activities, Seven Oaks Recreation also offers a tent campground complete with fire rings, picnic tables and porta-potties.

This family-friendly outdoor center is located in Boone, Iowa, and is just a quick drive away from des Moines, Fort Fodge, Adel, Ames, and other surrounding communities.

Things to Do

• Rent a canoe and float on the sparkling waters of Des Moines River. Reservations are required with some time in advance. You can book your boat here.
• Take the entire family for a day of fun and excitement by booking a paintball session. Seven Oaks Recreation has several paintball fields located at the top of a hill.
• If you are planning to try several activities, get a season pass. The passes are available at special rates for children.

• A Snack Counter is available at the front office and the center is home to the Snow Joe's restaurant that is open when the slopes are open.
