Activity Overview
Assist children in learning their sight words and enhance their vocabulary and reading ability by creating this sight word matching game. This sight word scavenger hunt and matching game is made from a cardboard tube, a marker and some stickers and is very easily created.
This educational game uses recycled materials and encourages young children to learn their letters and the sequence of the alphabet by matching the sticker to the sight word hidden on the surface of the paper towel cardboard tube. This is a super quiet time activity for school aged children and can be done in the car, in a waiting room, or at anytime where quiet or down time is appreciated.

- Now, write the corresponding sight words onto the individual sticker dots.
