Activity Overview
Slide Ranch is located in the beautiful, coastal Muir Beach area just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. While serving to educate the people of California on farming practices, the ranch also sustains the staff members who live within its borders.
Things to Do
- Take a hike through 134 acres of public trails.
- Explore the tide pools that form along the coast.
- Pack lunch and enjoy a picnic by the ocean.
- Visit the animals. Goats, chickens, sheep, and ducks all live on the ranch.

- Public parking is available at the entrance of the park. Park maps can also be found here.
- Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes.
- Due to the tide pools and dirt trails, it is advised that children bring a change of clothes.
