Activity Overview
Seattle's Judkins Park offers just over six acres of sports facilities, picnic areas and a central walking trail. Best of all for the children of the area is the spray park that is opened from the end of May until the start of September. This is a fun area for you and your kids to cool off on hot summer's days.
Things to Do
- At the center of the Lower Judkins' Spray Park is a concrete tower that shoots out water in various directions. Though this is one of the older spray parks in Seattle it is still in good shape and is very enjoyable. There are also regular playgrounds at the park, one being for under 5's and the other meant for older children.
- You will find more than just a spray park at Judkins Park. Basketball courts, soccer, football and softball fields ensure that active people out there should find some activity to suit them. They also have multi—use venues which were once solely meant for tennis. Today though you can play bicycle polo, dodgeball, Futsal and more. The park also has a skatespot that is popular with young skaters.
