Activity Overview
Spruce Flat Falls is a hidden gem in the smokey mountains, visitors can hike the trail to the falls which is a beautiful and scenic trail. The beautiful nature trail takes you to the basin of spruce flat falls. The falls are located in the Tremont section of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, the trail to the falls is somewhat steep and is moderately difficult to cross. The round trip of the trail is almost 2 miles, nature lovers can hike the trail anytime of the year.

- Spruce Flat Falls are a little natural gem in the Smokey mountain national park, the falls are a beautiful sight and perfect for nature photography.
- Once hiking on the trail you reach the falls that has four tiers, the falls spill into a large pool/basin. The end of the trail is steep and goes downhill.
- The trail gives good views of the surrounding mountains. The trail can be crossed in 40-45 minutes.
- There are no maps available for the trail. Wildlife can be spotted at the trail and the waterfall such as deer, snakes and salamanders.
- A gift shop and restrooms are located in the Tremont institute.
