The Children's Museum of Houston is home to fourteen different exhibits that are specifically designed for kids. Not only is this an ideal destination for interactive play, but there are a plethora of educational activities that are sure to stimulate your little one's active mind.

Since 1980, The Children's Museum of Houston has been dedicated to providing a safe and invigorating environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning and discovery. In fact, Parent's Magazine deemed this establishment the best children's museum in the whole country!

The interactive exhibits at this venue include:

The Children's Museum of Houston Insider Tips

  • Outside food is not allowed in the museum, but there are plenty of food options at their onsite cafe.
  • Free family admission is offered each Thursday from 5-8 pm.
  • Several exhibits and activities prohibit flip flops and open back shoes. Encourage your kids to wear tennis shoes to ensure they are allowed to participate in all the fun.
