Activity Overview
Try out this easy Disappearing Coin Illusion. This is a fun illusion that leans more of the side of an illusion than a true magic trick, but the activity is quick, easy and very fascinating. In this illusion you will be exploring the concept of light refraction. When light passes through the glass of water, it's path is bent. One eye sees the coin head on and the other eye sees the refracted image of the coin which looks to be in a different location than it actually is.
