Activity Overview
The Green is a park in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina that is known for its public artwork and its frequent use for events such as live theater performances and movie screenings. While it is small, it's a fun place to explore with children due to its literary theme, which is exemplified by its various bronze sculptures of popular books and whimsical signs that point to real places which combine to make up the names of renowned writers. It is also the home of the annual Charlotte Shakespeare Festival, which performs in the park each summer.
