Activity Overview
The mission of the University of Vermont's Perkins Geology Museum is to educate the public about geologic concepts in an interesting manner.
Exhibits includeThe Charlotte Whale, The Dark Room, Dinosaur Footprints, T-Rex Hologram, The Vermont Collection, Triceratops Skull, and the SmartBoard Projection System. "Digging for dinosaurs" and "identifying rock types" are the museum's interactive, hands-on displays.

- Call the office to request one of the museum's many worksheets or informational handouts.
- Inquire about guided tours which are given on a limited basis.

- Open Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., whenever The University of Vermont is in session.
- Summer and vacation hours vary, so it is best to call ahead and make sure the museum is open.
