Activity OverviewCare to visit an 18th century printing press from the colonial era? If you are a history buff, you'd enjoy a visit to the Printing office of Edes & Gill located in Boston, MA. The colonial era printing press is located along the Freedom Trail, the printing press gives live demonstration about newspaper printing and tells the historic revolution that was stemmed by the printing press. Benjamin Edes and John Gill were the owners of the Boston Gazette that was one of the most influential paper during the revolutionary war. The print shop is open to tours April through October.
