Tougas Family Farm

Activity Overview

Tougas Farm is a true family endeavor. Way back in 1981 Phyllis and Maurice Tougas bought the central plot of land along with the farmhouse and since then have worked hard to add more crops, buildings and land to their farm. They have also raised their three children who help out on the farm too. Apart from this they have always welcomed the general public to come and share their love of farming with them. You can come along and pick fresh produce to take home or if that sounds like too much work you can simply head to their farm store and kitchen to buy their fine fruit and veg there.

Things to Do

• During the fairer months of the year you can pick a great range of produce at the Farm. Apples, pumpkins, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, peaches and blackberries are all available. Of course these fruits are only in season at certain times so be sure to check out the Farm's picking conditions page before you visit to see what you can get.
• The Farm Store and Kitchen is open on all the days that it is possible to pick your own on the Farm. Here you can buy some great treats like Peach Cobbler, Ice Cream, Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Cookies and Fruit Jams.

Tougas Family Farm Insider Tips

• It is possible to organize school field trips during the fall. However since they do not have enough summer fruits it is not possible to book a summer field trip. The Farm does not host birthday parties either.
• There are no dogs allowed on the Farm.
