Sick of bringing your kids to amusement and water parks where, for a serious expense, they have fun but don't really learn anything? Well at the Tulsa Children's Museum Discovery Lab they can practice their developing skills in a variety of ways, and all with a smile on their face. Plus a trip here is sure to be cheaper than a trip to just about any amusement park, which should put a smile on the parents face too!
Things to Do
- One of the Discovery Labs principal exhibits is called Move it!. It is an exhibit that challenges children to actively use both their bodies and mind to solve a series of obstacles. So they must navigate their way through a rope jungle and a bungee maze, get the better of optical illusions and more. Each part of this exhibit, and of the others too aims to exercise the children's kinesthetic, mental and creative faculties while having fun!
- The youngest of kids are welcome to play at the Discovery Lab. In fact they have an area that is specially designed to just be used by toddlers. In the toddler area your child will come across plenty of age appropriate hands-on activities. They can move blocks and tubes, play with a mini wall ball and test their developing motor skills with gravity and balance activities.
