Activity Overview
Make an environmentally friendly fashion statement by making these decorative bangle bracelets out of upcycled water bottles. This a fun craft idea for anytime of year. Let your creative juices flow when it comes to decorating. Older children may want to decorate the inside of the top layer of bottle to overlay different designs and color combinations. If you have children in your group who are not interested in bracelets and some who are, use a water bottle to cut and decorate rings for a ring toss game while others work on bracelet making.

- Use your scissors to cut through both layeres of plastic bottle 2-3 inch segments and make them wavy if you like by cutting them slightly unevenly but still smoothly.
