Activity Overview

Famous for its remarkable reading room, the West Dade Regional Library also allows the entire family to spend a couple of hours in a building with a beautiful architecture, surrounded by books and a plethora of interactive activities for the children.

The West Dade Regional Library is located on Coral Way and is surrounded by lots of green spaces sprinkled with numerous sculptures. A playground for little kids is available right next to the library, as well as a walkway for jogging or strolling.

Inside the West Dade Regional Library you can find several computers for young children, where they can enjoy a range of educational activities. The children's area also includes a large space for playing, as well as tables and chairs where the little ones can explore some of the books made available in the area.

Things to Do

• If you have little children, take them to the playground outside the library where they can have fun after spending time inside.
• Various programs for children are available at the library, including the Reading Ready Preschool Storytime consisting of songs, stories, and activities for preschoolers.
• The library hosts a yoga program for children aged 6 to 14.
