Wings & Waves Water park at the Evergreen aviation museum is an indoor all-season water park that is one of its kinds in McMinnville, Oregon just 45 minutes Southwest of Portland. The indoor water park has water slides, a wave pool, and hands-on educational exhibits dedicated to water power. It is a unique museum that combines water play, fun and education, there are dozens of interactive exhibits that help children learn about the power of water. The evergreen museum houses space and aviation exhibits, kids zone, space museum playground, 3D theater, museum cafe and store. Visitors can buy tickets or season passes for the water park.
Things to Do
- The water park has slides for all age groups; dare devils and the little ones, you can slide out of a real Boeing 747 aircraft in the museum.
- The wave pool lets your relax in the water, or you can sit by on lounge chairs. There are basket ball hoops to play a game of basketball with your family.
- Older children like the tail spin that is a high speed tube ride that offers a smooth, but high energy thrill ride.
- Aqua play is a multi-level play structure, it has water buckets splashing water, water slides water guns and much more.
- Young children aged 2-8 year-old have their own airplane and space shuttle slides. Climb into a sailing submarine in the H2O hands on science center.
- Grab a bite at the Milky way cafe, you cannot bring outside food in the water park area. A picnic area is located outside the water park.
