Activity Overview
The centerpiece of Miami's vibrant Wynwood Art District, the Wynwood Walls features works of some of the world's greatest artists working in the graffiti and street art genre. Since its beginnings in 2009, the Wynwood Walls has seen the works of no less than 50 artists from various countries such as the United States, Belgium, Mexico, Portugal, Brazil, Germany, Greece, France, Japan and many more others.
In 2010, the Wynwood Doors were added to the project and since then the project has migrated outside the park area in the surrounding neighborhood, where visitors can see some breathtaking murals that cover sides of buildings and sometimes even entire buildings.
Things to Do
- Take your time to discover the works of some of the world's most celebrated artists at the Wynwood Walls. As the artwork changes frequently, there is always something new to see.
- The Wynwood Art District is home to a large number of bars, restaurants, and galleries,
- This is an excellent place to take artistic photos if you are passionate about photography.
Wynwood Walls Insider Tips
- If you want to cover the entire area and see most of the art works, you can rent a bike that will help you move around quickly. Citibikes are available to rent in the area.
- Visit some of the design shops in the area for souvenirs and home decor items.
