BusyMom
Hi there - I'm mom of two children (11 & 9). I am originally from CT, attended Villanova University, and have lived in Washington, DC, Austin, TX and now reside in Sudbury, MA. When I'm not shuttling the children from one activity or another, or working diligently on my computer, I enjoy watching the Red Sox & Big East College Basketball, Downton Abbey, Doc Martin, Project Runway, puzzles, organizing stuff, step aerobics, gardening, spending time family & friends, drinking wine with friends, or a well-crafted Stata margarita.

In Nahant Beach ReservationThis is a really nice beach. The water is very clean with great, manageable surf, and little to no rocks or seaweed. The entry to the water is flat so it's great for all ages. Parking is just $5, but it tends to fill up quickly, so plan to arrive early on weekends and by 10:30am during the week to ensure you get a spot. The beach is long and somewhat thin at high tide. There are a couple if bathrooms (could be a trek depending where you park); and a very nice Boardwalk. No real concessions here so best to bring lunch and drinks with you. Waves are great for boogie boarding but not fierce like some places. Pleasantly surprised by this beach!
In Toothpick Balancing Tricks That will Amaze Yo...This really does work. It takes some trial and error so have patience - but once you do it you will be so impressed with yourself! Glad I found this - thx.
In Moroccan Chicken SoupLove it! I'm trying this today - thx!!
In Fresh Snack Ideas for SchoolGreat ideas! I've recently discovered:
Trader Joe's organic olive oil popcorn
Carbonated Polar Water in cans vs. juice boxes
Trader Joe's Oyster crackers (the best!)
Kirkland (Costco) Real Sliced Dried Fruit
Clif Bars for Kids (we like the Brownie flavor)
In Free Lorax Coloring Pages & PrintablesI was able to just click the print button and print them. It didn't prompt me to download anything. That's odd. There are about 5 or 6 really cute pages.
